Today I haven't done much after school. I have read 6 chapters in my book and played on my PSP. Therefore I will tell you a little about polar bears.

Polar bears- Ursus Maritimus.

The polar bear lives in Alaska, Canada, Svalbard, Russia and Greenland. It is 22.000-25.000 polar bears in the whole world.

Adult male bears have the weight 300-800kg. Sometimes they can grow up to a ton. From nose to tail they are 250cm. A full grown male bear can reach the hight of 160cm from the floor to their schoulders.

A femaile bear is half the size. From october to november they dig a hole in the ground, a place she can give birth to 1-4cubs. When a polar bear is born it dosent weight more than 600-700 gram.

The polar bears diet is mostely difrent kinds of seal, fish, birs and eggs.

The polars bears have no natural enemies exept for the man.
